Célébration '80, Place-des-Arts.
Involved with Place-des-Arts since its opening, Sam Gesser celebrated his birthday and raised funds for the Place-des-Arts with a grand celebration in 1980. He was joined by Nana Mouskouri, Monique Leyrac, Maureen Forrester, Harry Belafonte and Pete Seeger. Also pictured are Ruth Gesser and Ida Gesser.
