The sabal palm


The Royal Palm may be the undisputed king, but there are also many distinguished princes in its realm.

Where there is no red soil, the fatness of the earth, the Royal Palm gives way to a species that thrives in poor soils, the Sabal florida, which in this country provides us with liturgical palm fronds.
