Guided Tours
Groups of 15 or more may arrange to take a guided tour with a volunteer guide from the Friends of the Garden, who is sure to make a visit to the greenhouses or some of the different gardens an enjoyable learning experience.
Guided tours of the greenhouses are also available. Ask at the Reception Centre.
Horticultural Workshops
Please note that the horticultural workshops program is now offered by the Friends of the Garden Society, jointly with the Montreal Botanical Garden.
Since autumn 2001 the horticultural workshops are registered with the calendar of activities of the Friends of the Garden (in French)
Other courses are offered, usually in French, by the Friends of the Garden (Les Amis du Jardin botanique de Montréal), and other affiliated societies. Bonsai courses are offered by the Montreal Bonsai & Penjing Society.
The School of Horticulture, l'École d'horticulture du Jardin botanique, offers a 2-year professional program.
