Practical Information
Student Supervision
Educational activities are designed on the assumption that the teacher and accompanying
adults will stay with students throughout the tour and participate. We recommend
that you plan to have accompanying adults in the following ratios:
- one per five students, for preschool and elementary cycle one;
- one per ten students, for elementary cycles two and three and secondary.
The teacher and accompanying adults are expected to stay with the students throughout the tour.
The number of students per class for workshops must comply with the ratios established by the Québec Ministry of Education for the different grades.
Reservations
Reservations are mandatory for workshops and shows, and strongly advised for self-guided tours, as they will make admission faster and easier for your group.
When reserving, kindly specify :
- The activity or activities desired
- The total number of participants per activities selected (specify the number of students and adults)
- Their grades
- The desired date and time
- The name, address and telephone number of the organization, as well as of the person who will accompany the group on its visit
- If applicable, in which language (French or English) you would like the activity conducted and whether it is the students' mother tongue or second language.
- All other pertinent information (e.g. specific interests, students with disabilities, etc.)
