Production and Collection Greenhouses

Some of the exhibition greenhouses showcase only a tiny percentage of the Garden's actual collection. In fact, for research or conservation purposes or because particular plants do not flower in the season in question, the largest part of the collection is often kept in our "collection" greenhouses, which are not open to the public.

There are also a large number of production greenhouses behind the scenes, where thousands of flowering potted plants are produced, to be used throughout the year to brighten up the Main Exhibition Greenhouse.
