The Montréal Insectarium is one of a kind in North America.
This institution, dedicated to communication, education, conservation and research on insects, contains 160, 000 live and mounted specimens of insects, some of which are as beautiful as jewels.
In summer, visitors can watch bees in action in a glass hive or in the garden surrounding the building.
This museum is located next to the Marsh and Bog Garden. It is easily accessible through the entrance at the Maisonneuve Park parking.
