Economic Plant Garden
Here visitors will find plants for either their nutritional value or their fibres used in making cloth.
The largest part, with an educational, rather than ornamental, function
follows the Perennial Garden. It is divided into 15 sections,
with plants familiar to most of us and other, rarer varieties.
The second part serves for trials of new vegetable varieties and offers borders of interesting ornamental
combinations of edible plants.
It is laid out next to the Alpinum.
