The animals at Angrignon Farm
are all ready for summer!

Montréal, June 11, 2002. Angrignon Farm will be a very busy place this summer! We have a great line-up of free activities featuring some one hundred farm animals and lots of fun. Visitors are also invited to learn about the Quebec agri-food industry through our Sundays on the Farm. There's always something happening at Angrignon Farm, and it's right in the heart of the city!.

A variety of visitor activities for the 2002 season
Every day starts off with egg collecting at 9:45 a.m., and then the focus shifts to our star animal at 10:30 a.m. and again at 4:15 p.m. You're sure to learn something new. You can also watch feeding time (for the animals!) at 2:45 p.m. and milking time at 3:30 p.m. There are guided tours at 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. But what all our visitors young and old like best is the chance to pat the rabbits, pigs, donkeys, ducks and other friendly animals living in their enclosures or running free. It feels like a long way from the city!

Sundays on the Farm: Insects to keep things buzzing,
and Quebec lamb, curly and cute!

Once again this year visitors can marvel at the wealth of Quebec agri-food products, as they chat with experts and taste and learn about some of their wares: on July 14, Get the buzz on bees and wasps; on August 4, it's Quebec lamb, curly and cute; on August 11, learn about Quebec apples in every season; and, finally, to round off the season, on August 25, that perennial favourite, our corn roast.

Where?
Angrignon Farm is open every day from June 14 to September 2, 2002, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free! The farm is located at the corner of Des Trinitaires Boulevard and Lacroix Street in Montréal and is easy to get to from the Angrignon metro station, or by car, via Autoroute 15 South, exit 62.

Thank you!
Angrignon Farm thanks all its partners for their constant support: the Union des producteurs agricoles, the Ministère de l'Agriculture et l'agroalimentaire, the Coopérative fédérée de Québec and the Ministère de l'Agriculture des pêcheries et de l'alimentation du Québec.
