A Busy Summer
with family and friends
at Angrignon Farm!

Angrignon Farm: an amazingly active farm, in the heart of the city!

Montréal, June 3, 2003 – This summer, Angrignon Farm is the place to be! With close to one hundred farm animals representing some 25 species in all, from pigs to ducks, geese, a cow, sheep and goats, there’s bound to be lots of fun for young visitors and plenty of entertainment for grown-ups. And our young staff members will be delighted to treat you to all kind of free activities. It’s a wonderful "day in the country".
You’ll also have a chance to learn more about the Quebec agri-food industry with our Sundays down on the Farm.

Barnyard secrets revealed!

Every day starts with egg gathering at 9:45 a.m., followed by the farmer’s chat at 10:30 (repeated in the afternoon, at 4:15), your chance to meet an original character. Visitors can also watch feeding time at 2:45 p.m. and milking time for our cow at 3:30 p.m. There are guided tours, too, at 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. But the best part of all, for visitors of all ages, is the opportunity to get up close to the bunnies, pigs, donkeys, ducks and other friendly animals in cages or roaming free. You’ll definitely feel like you’re out in the country!

Sundays down on the Farm: Piglets and corkscrew tails, apples and buzzing insects!

Once again this year, you’ll be amazed at all that Quebec’s agri-food sector has to offer, as our experts will be pleased to share their knowledge.

Come for educational workshops and tastings: on July 6, Piglets and corkscrew tails; on July 13, Bzz… bzz… the busy beehive; on August 10, Quebec apples in every season and, finally, to round off the season on August 24, our always popular corn roast.

Where?

Located at the corner of des Trinitaires Blvd. and Lacroix Street, in Montréal, the Farm is easily accessible from Angrignon metro station. If you’re coming by car, take Highway 15 south, exit 62. Angrignon Farm is open every day from June 12 to September 1, 2003, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. And admission is free!

Thank you!

Angrignon Farm thanks all its partners for their constant support: the Union des producteurs agricoles, the Coopérative fédérée de Québec, Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, and the Ministère de l'Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation (MAPAQ).
