The Montréal Botanical Garden provides a multitude of services to make your day the most
agreeable.
Lockers
Lockers, located in the Reception Centre, can be rented for $2 per day.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available at the Reception Counter and at the Insectarium.
As they are offered as a courtesy service, the number of wheelchairs is limited, therefore making it impossible to guarantee their availability.
A deposit of $50.00 is required (cash, Visa, Mastercard). It will be reimbursed upon the return of the wheelchair which must be in the same state as when it was borrowed.
Strollers
To accommodate families, strollers are available at the Reception Counter.

The Boîte à lunch (Dining room)
The Boîte à lunch is a dining room available to groups visiting the Botanical Garden. With its 70 seats and many lockers, this
room allows groups to snack quietly during 30 minutes.
Groups interested can reserve the Boîte à lunch by dialing 514 872-1823.
Please note that for groups of children 4 and under, the Boîte à lunch can be reserved for $2 per child.
Picnic at Maisonneuve Park
It is forbidden to picnic on the site of the Botanical Garden, except for reserved lunch areas. The Maisonneuve Park, next to
the Insectarium, has picnic tables and ample green lawn for relaxing and enjoying outdoor activities.
GROUP VISITS
If you are planning to visit the Botanical Garden and the Insectarium with a group of 15 people or more, why not make a reservation that
will allow you to know all the different services available?
Obligatory reservations for guided tours and educational activities. Reservations are strongly
recommended for groups, even if they wish to visit on their own. By reserving, you facilitate the entrance of your group to the site.

GUIDED TOURS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC
Visiting the Botanical Garden is like taking a trip around the globe to admire some 22,000 species and cultivars of plants, all in one place.
To help you make the most of your visit to the Montréal Botanical Garden, our volunteer guides will take you on a free tour of the greenhouses or outdoor gardens.
Tours are offered in co-operation with the Friends of the Montréal Botanical Garden.
Tours are held rain or shine. The choice of gardens included depends on what is in bloom, and greenhouse tours are offered mainly in wintertime.
When:
- Daily, from May 15 to November 4, 2012
- Tuesday to Sunday, from November 5, 2012 to May 14, 2013
Schedule:
- Departures at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., May 15 to November 4, 2012
- Departures at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., November 5, 2012 to May 14, 2013

- 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on which outdoor gardens and seasonal attractions are included
- 45 to 60 min. for the greenhouses

Interested in a private tour of the outdoor gardens or greenhouses? Just put together a group of five or more and reserve a volunteer guide, at least one month ahead of time.

Looking for a gift, a souvenir, a book on botany, insects or gardening, a film for your camera?
The Garden Giftshop, located in the Reception Centre should offer you plenty of ideas and necessities. Come and see!
COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
The Montréal Botanical Garden and Insectarium are obviously favorite haunts of photographers and filmmakers
looking not only for glorious images, but also for backgrounds from the four corners of the globe.
The Botanical Garden has drawn up a policy on commercial use of the site.
Photographers and filmmakers must sign an agreement with the Garden and abide by its conditions.
The Slide Library is able to rent slides or photographs for publication or advertising purposes.
