The Main Exhibition Greenhouse will be full of some
inventive creations by recycling artists, complementing
a lush floral décor.
Winter Art Installations
(Outdoor site, between the Reception Centre and the Insectarium)

Come admire some highly unusual outdoor installations created by Université de Montréal Faculty of Environmental Design students on display between the Reception Centre and the Insectarium

This story for ages 3 to 8 is sure to delight older visitors, too. In french only
Snowflake Walk
(Outdoor site)
December 9 and 16, 2011 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Visitors young and old will have fun exploring
the Garden by night, illuminated by torchlight
and small glowing snowflakes. Street performers,
festive music and other surprises will add to the
atmosphere. Departure at 6:30 p.m. from the Festive Square
Knitting Bee
(Main Exhibition Greenhouse)

A team of talented knitters from the Cercles de Fermières
du Québec will be in the Main Exhibition Greenhouse,
knitting one hundred pairs of mittens that will be donated
to children through the Fondation du Dr Julien.
Craft workshops for ages 6 to 12

1 to 4 p.m.
Make animal-shaped note holders and help create a Kings of Winter wall, showcasing children’s artwork.

Amateur astronomers from the Société des Amis du Planétarium will be setting up telescopes so that you can peer at the surface of the Moon and other celestial bodies.
It’s a great chance to ask all your questions!
