The Montréal Botanical Garden is inviting all gardeners, from young sprouts to mature enthusiasts, to its tenth Great Gardening Weekend, on May 25 to 27, 2007.
The event is organized in co-operation with representatives of the horticultural industry in Québec and the Montréal Nature Museums Foundation, and offers a wide variety of attractions for green thumbs of all ages.
Our Great Gardening Weekend is also a superb opportunity to stock up on plants of all kinds.
Growers from across Québec will be on hand, offering the most recent varieties and some of their rarest plant specimens.
The Montréal Botanical Garden itself will even be selling some new, rare and forgotten plants - a chance to make some terrific discoveries!

2007 Henry-Teuscher Award |
During the 2007 Great Gardening Weekend, the Montréal Botanical Garden is pleased to honour Émile Jacqmain, who as the Botanical Garden’s superintendent has overseen many different garden projects over the years.
He also co-ordinated the production of the outdoor gardens for the Floralies in 1980, once again making a great contribution to promoting horticulture in Quebec.
