Convention sur la diversité biologique

Il est entendu que l'utilisation de tout matériel envoyé par le Jardin botanique de Montréal dans le cadre de son Index seminum est conforme aux articles énoncés dans la Convention sur la diversité biologique (Rio de Janeiro, 1992).
Plus précisément, la commande de matériel engage le respect des conditions suivantes :
1. Le matériel sera utilisé à des fins de recherche, de conservation et d'éducation.
2. Toute utilisation commerciale envisagée doit faire l'objet au préalable d'une entente avec les autorités du pays d'origine du matériel.
3. Dans l'éventualité où le matériel est fourni à une tierce partie, les conditions émises ci-haut s'appliqueront à la tierce partie.

The use of any material supplied by the Montreal Botanical Garden via its Index seminum is to comply with the articles of the Convention on Biodiversity (Rio de Janeiro, 1992).
More precisely, the recipient upon ordering material agrees to the following conditions:
1. The material is to be used for purposes of research, conservation and education.
2. Any commercial use must be the object of an agreement between the recipient and the authorities from the country of origin of the material.
3. In the event that the material is supplied to a third party, the conditions described above will apply to the third party.
