William Molson.
William Molson (1793-1875).
Molson was a Montréal brewer and distiller. In 1855, he became the first president of the Molson Bank. He was also the president of the Champlain Railway Company and a director of the Grand Trunk Railway. He served as a governor of McGill and was one of its most generous benefactors.
