Boulevard Décarie
Décarie boulevard. At the outset, this artery was known as Grande Allée de Florence and later as Monkland. It was a focal point of the Gohier plan, a spatial organization plan conceived and partly executed by Édouard Gohier Senior and his associate, Ludger Cousineau at the end of the 19th Century. The tramway circulated here until the end of the 1950's. Photo taken on July 5, 1957, Ville de Saint-Laurent Archives, P483
