Her library
 Over the years, Felicitas Svejda gathered information and documents related to her areas of expertise and research. She did create many files on topics such as the history of roses, Rosa rugosa and chromosome numbers. Some files consist of handwritten notes, for publication projects.
Occasionnally, Felicitas Svejda recorded certain information on small pieces of paper as evidenced by this list of selection codes inscribed on a sheet of a notepad advertising a commercial enterprise. The handwritten list of plants in the Ottawa area described in the sub-series JBM 10, S7, SS2 is another example.
Mrs. Svejda donated to the Montréal Botanical Garden Library her collection of books, periodicals and other documentation dealing largely with roses but also on other topics related to horticulture. Documents annotated by Felicitas Svejda were integrated into its archives. The others have been incorporated into the library's collections.

Scope and content:
Series including thematic documentation files for research and publication, including a manuscript of roses in alphabetical order of breeders and nurseries, an annotated publication of plants in the Ottawa region, annotated fact sheets published by Agriculture Canada on some Explorer roses, weigelas and forsythias developed by Felicitas Svejda and other subjects, photocopied excerpts of journal articles, some of which are annotated with handwritten notes including lecture notes and for publication.

Notes :
Source of title proper: Title based on contents of the series.
Condition: Photocopies of documents and manuscripts are contained in folders. Some manuscripts are very fragile. Some pages contain glued paper strips with corrected data corrections, some sections are detached.
Ranking: The records are arranged by topic content alphabetically.
Language of Documents: Documents are in English and some technical data sheets are in French.

Scope and content: Sub-series consists of a publication listing plants of the Ottawa area, annotated by Mrs Svejda and including a handwritten note, as well as Canadex fact sheets published by Agriculture Canada,some of wich being annotated.
