After a forced internment in British Columbia during World War II, Canadians of Japanese descent arrived in Montréal between 1943 and 1945. The bilingual publication (English/Japanese) of this monthly bulletin began in 1946 and continues today. The Bulletin was intended as a forum for issues that affected Montréal's Japanese-Canadians.
