David David.
David David (1764-1824).
Born in Montréal, David became one of the city's most prominent citizens during his lifetime. A merchant by profession, he was a founder and director of the Bank of Montréal (established in 1817), as well as a founding member of the Board of Trade (then called the Committee of Trade).
