Rose Garden

A trip back in time

Centifolias, floribundas, grandifloras ... So many types and so little space! By 1991, it was time for the Queen to expand her realm.

The new section, where the Chinese and Japanese Gardens meet, invites visitors on a trip back through rose history. Each border displays a different category of roses, from wild species with simple flowers (five petals) to old roses with one hundred petals. It?s like a threedimensional family tree!
